Transgrid operates and manages the high voltage electricity transmission network in NSW and the ACT. The network connects more than three million homes, businesses and communities to a safe, reliable and secure electricity supply.

We are building the transmission super-highway which will transform the energy supply for millions of Australians.

We continued to deliver a safe network as a mission critical priority and have seen low levels of trespass events and public injury incidents.

As we construct and maintain transmission lines and cable routes, we take all reasonable steps to protect the natural habitat of endangered species and areas that may hold cultural significance to First Nations peoples.

During the year, Lumea was appointed to build, own and operate the connection infrastructure required to connect the Sapphire Wind Farm to the National Energy Market over the life of the project.
